Join us at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot for this year’s MMPI Workshops & Annual Symposium. Hotel guest room rates of $150 (plus tax) for single or double occupancy are available for attendees. You may book a room at the conference hotel any time between now and May 15, 2019.

To reserve it online, click here or call 612-375-1700. Guest room rates include complimentary wi-fi and access to the on-site fitness center. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and checkout time is 12 p.m. 


On-site Parking at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot:

We will be offering complimentary parking for all MMPI Workshop & Symposium attendees during the day (let us know you parked on-site when you check-in each morning). If you are planning to rent a car, the overnight rate for Sunday-Thursday is $22/night; for Friday and Saturday night, it is $15.

Travel information
Located in downtown Minneapolis, The Depot is 10.4 miles NW of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). The Depot does not provide shuttle service, but here are some alternate transportation options:

  • Madeena Car and Valet; fee: $50 (one way), reservation required
  • Bus service, fee: $16 (one way)
  • Estimated taxi fare: $35 (one way)

 


REGISTRATION: Early registration rates are available until April 15, 2019. We accept workshop registrations online, by phone, or mail. Please contact the Marketing & Training Manager for availability if registering after Monday, June 10 (Email: nickerso@umn.edu - PH: 612-301-4821). 


WORKSHOP REGISTRATION FEES:

- 1 workshop day:
$325 (Early registration: $300)
- 2 workshop days:
$475 (Early registration: $425)

SYMPOSIUM REGISTRATION FEE:
- $225: Friday and Saturday (no early rate available)

We also offer group rates for professionals and students attending the MMPI workshops. Depending on the date of group registration, workshop discounts are applied to either the early or regular registration fees:

- 4-5 attendees: 20% discount
- 6-7 attendees: 25% discount
- 8 or more attendees: 30% discount

WORKSHOP AGENDA
: Each day consists of two or three full-day tracks of programming from which to choose. Workshop sessions start at 9:00 a.m. and conclude each day at 5:00 p.m.

Track C: Forensic Applications of the MMPI-2-RF 

THURSDAY, June 13: (Choose one)
Track A: Using the MMPI-A-RF with Adolescents
Track B: Advanced MMPI-2-RF Interpretation
- Track C: Use of the MMPI-2-RF in Medical Settings

Friday-Saturday, June 14-15
- 54th Annual Symposium on Recent Research (call for papers information)

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

Six Continuing Education hours are awarded per workshop day. Full day attendance is required, no partial CE credits can be awarded.

Eleven Continuing Education hours are awarded for full attendance at the Symposium.

The MMPI Workshops & Symposium, sponsored by Kent State University and coordinated by the Test Division of the University of Minnesota Press, is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The MMPI Workshops & Symposium maintains responsibility for the program and its content.
