The Tech Humanist Show is a multi-media-format program exploring how data and technology shape the human experience, hosted by Kate O’Neill. Today we are joined by Emma Bedor Hiland who teaches in the College of Media & Communication at Texas Tech University. Her research examines the relationships between health, technology, and culture. Emma earned her Ph.D. from the Communication Studies department at the University of Minnesota, where she also developed a concentration in Bioethics.
