Sue Leaf talks birds and her new book on Kare 11

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. --  Author and trained zoologist Sue Leaf joined KARE Saturday morning to talk about her new book, A Love Affair with Birds: The Life of Thomas Sadler Roberts.

The book is the first full biography of Thomas Sadler Roberts. Roberts is best known for being a bird enthusiast, doctor, author, curator, educator, and conservationist. The book also looks in on Minnesota state history as well as Sue Leaf's own life.
