KAXE: Retired MN Bookseller Gary Goodman Reflects on 40 Years of Books
In 1982, Gary Goodman wandered into a run-down, used-book shop that was going out of business in East St. Paul. He walked in as a psychiatric counselor and walked out as the store’s new owner. After almost 40 years and a few different stores later, Gary is now semi-retired and he’s written about his book selling experience in his new book The Last Bookseller: A Life in the Rare Book Trade.
