Encouraging Development in College Students was first published in 1978.

This book, Volume 11, Minnesota Library on Student Personnel Work, reflects the increasing concern on the part of college faculty and student personnel workers in encouraging and facilitating psycho-social development in college students. The contributors describe and discuss five specific programs which were conducted in an effort to enhance such development. Comments by theorists n the practitioners’ programs are included.

Clyde A. Parker was a professor of educational psychology and chair of the Department of Social, Psychological, and Philosophical Foundations of Education at the University of Minnesota.
