CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) CREDITS

Instructions for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits for Book-Based Exams

Psychologists may earn continuing education (CE) credits by passing the exam (at least 75% correct). 

To receive a Continuing Education Certificate for this course, complete the following steps: 

1. Read Interpreting the MMPI-3, Assessing Police and Other Public Safety Personnel Using the MMPI-2-RF, Interpreting the MMPI-2-RF, Case Studies for Interpreting the MMPI-A-RF, OR Forensic Applications of the MMPI-2-RF.
2. Take the book-based exam for the title listed below. Click the link for the relevant exam:
   
   • Interpreting the MMPI-3
   • Assessing Police and Other Public Safety Personnel Using the MMPI-2-RF
   • Interpreting the MMPI-2-RF
   • Case Studies for Interpreting the MMPI-A-RF
   • Forensic Applications of the MMPI-2-RF
     
3. Respond to all learning assessment questions. Remember that you must have at least 75% correct to receive CE credit, which means you must score the following:
   • 43 out of 57 for Interpreting the MMPI-3
   • 41 out of 54 for Assessing Police and Other Public Safety Personnel Using the MMPI-2-RF
   • 41 out of 54 for Interpreting the MMPI-2-RF
   • 38 out of 50 for Case Studies for Interpreting the MMPI-A-RF
   • 38 out of 50 for Forensic Applications of the MMPI-2-RF
4. If you do not receive a score of 75% and would like to retake the exam, you will receive a follow-up link. You must complete the assessment with a passing grade to receive your CE credits.
5. Type your name into the honor statement at the end of the learning assessment, indicating that the answers have been provided by you alone. 
6. APA asks that you complete an attestation. You will receive an email with a link to the attestation once you have passed the exam.
7. Once you have received a passing score on the exam and completed the attestation, you need to pay the fee for the book-based exam to receive your Continuing Education certificate.  Please fill out all the information on the payment page and select the cost of the relevant book-based exam; this information is required for CE processing.
   
8. Once your payment has been received, we will process your information and email you a Continuing Education Certificate within 7–10 business days.
