Pathways to MMPI-2 Use: A Practitioner's Guide to Test Usage in Diverse Settings(from the chapter) Present an overview of the book, which was conceived as a compendium of original contributions focusing upon new developments and applications in the MMPI-2 that can serve as a more advanced text in the field than has been heretofore available. The chapters cover a number of theoretical issues defining the application or problem area under review. The content of each chapter details circumstances or issues that apply to the interpretation of the MMPI-2 in the chapter's particular context. An overview of current relevant research underlying the specific application is provided along with established guidelines for administration and interpretation that apply in the test application. Contributors have been encouraged to highlight important differences from "standard" interpretation and to incorporate, where possible, relevant case material to illustrate the test application.
