A comparative study of the MMPI-2 clinical scales: An examination of differences in aggressive and nonaggressive psychiatric inpatients
The prediction of violent and aggressive behavior has been in research for a number of years. A number of studies have been conducted in this area each utilizing different means of measuring or predicting violent and aggressive behavior. All participants in this study were selected from a state psychiatric hospital and consisted of males between the ages of 20 and 62. Participants were selected according to documented incident reports and the absence of documented incident reports at the hospital within the last six months. The intention of this research was to examine differences in aggressive and nonaggressive psychiatric inpatients utilizing the MMPI-2. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2007 APA, all rights reserved)
