A new book explores the lasting legacy of Scandinavians in the Midwest. Minneapolis-based writer Eric Dregni's latest book is Vikings in the Attic: In Search of Nordic America, published by the University of Minnesota Press. He's written several other books, including In Cod We Trust: Living the Norwegian Dream and Never Trust a Thin Cook and Other Lessons from Italy’s Culinary Capital. He's also assistant professor of English at Concordia University in St. Paul. He spoke with Stephanie Lecci.
