MANIFOLD POSSIBILITIES
Manifold is the networked, iterative, media-rich, interactive, and sustainable way to add the web to your publishing, reading, and teaching workflow—built by scholars and publishers, for scholars and publishers.
Manifold is a mobile native application compatible on all modern devices including smartphones, tablets, notebooks, and desktops. Readers can annotate texts and create discussions; publishers can quickly turn existing ebook files into online publications. The platform is suitable for a wide range of projects, from media-enriched to text-only.
Manifold is a collaboration between the CUNY Graduate Center, the University of Minnesota Press, and Cast Iron Coding that debuted in March 2018. Each group brings a unique perspective to the project: scholarship, publishing, and technology.
Manifold is, and always will be, 100 percent open source and free.
