Editorial Information
Anna M. Peterson (Associate Professor of History, Luther College) has been appointed editor of Norwegian-American Studies, the peer-reviewed journal of the Norwegian-American Historical Association. Published by the University of Minnesota Press, Norwegian-American Studies explores topics relevant to researchers engaged in the fields of migration history, politics, and culture as well as the interested public.
The Norwegian-American Historical Association (NAHA) is pleased to announce the redesign and relaunch of Norwegian-American Studies. Since 1926, Norwegian-American Studies has detailed and interpreted the Norwegian-American experience. It remains focused on showcasing new scholarship in the field of Norwegian-American studies, including the related fields of history, literature, religion, art, and cultural studies.
Now published on an annual basis, the journal aims to not only publish scholarship on Norwegian-American life, but also to facilitate intellectual exchange by publishing original research articles alongside discussions of scholarly works in progress, the teaching and learning of Norwegian-American studies, reviews of books recently published in the field, and more.
NAHA welcomes submissions on these and other related topics. Submission guidelines are available at www.naha.stolaf.edu/pubs. Inquiries can be directed to the editor at naha-editor@stolaf.edu.
Forthcoming in 2019: an issue focused on Norwegian-American art and artists, works in progress, pedagogical pieces, book reviews, and more.
