EXPLORING THE ST. CROIX RIVER VALLEY virtual event with Ramsey County Libraries and Angie Hong

Angie Hong will join Ramsey County Libraries virtually on Wednesday, February 19, for a presentation on her new book Exploring the St. Croix River Valley: Adventures on and off the Water, at 2:30 p.m. CST.
This event is a part of the Winter Wednesday with a Scholar Series from Ramsey County Libraries in conjunction with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Minnesota. This event is free and open to the public, but registration for the entire series is required.
From headwaters to tributaries, Exploring the St. Croix River Valley is a comprehensive guide to the St. Croix Riverway and its 8,000-square-mile watershed. As readers learn about the landscape, its history, and the local flora and fauna, environmental educator Angie Hong recommends specific places to explore the varied habitats—including prairies, forests, and lakes—and shares countless ways to get out and enjoy them.
