Dr. Holt is professor emeritus of political science at the University of Minnesota. He became acquainted with Radio Free Europe when he was attached to the Psychological Warfare staff of the U.S. Army, Europe. After leaving the service he returned to Europe to study the work of RFE at its Munich headquarters.
