Max Seham, M.D. achieved eminence in a long career in medicine, devoted chiefly to the field of pediatrics. He practiced medicine for many years in Minneapolis and St. Paul and was a clinical professor emeritus of pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. He played a leadership role in numerous pediatric and other medical organizations and causes and received many honors, among them, a certificate of service for his work on the White House Commission for Child Growth and Development. Much of his extensive research and writing focused on the physiological problems of fatigue in children and on children’s heart diseases.
