Jean-Francois Lyotard is professor emeritus at the University of Paris and professor of French at Emory University. He is author of The Postmodern Condition: A Report on Knowledge (1984), The Differend: Phrases in Dispute (1989), Heidegger and “the jews” (1990), Political Writings (1993), and Postmodern Fables (1997), all published by the University of Minnesota Press.

Julian Pefanis is a lecturer at the Power Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Sydney, Australia.

Morgan Thomas is a graduate student at the Power Institute and a freelance writer.
