Paul A. Arbisi, Ph.D., ABAP., Mpls. VA Medical Center
Dr. Paul A. Arbisi is a staff clinical psychologist at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1990. Dr. Arbisi consults with inpatient and outpatient psychiatric teams and conducts disability evaluations for veterans seeking benefits for PTSD. Dr. Arbisi has published extensively on detecting malingering with the MMPI-2 and using the MMPI-2 in psychiatric settings. He has a private practice specializing in disability evaluations and fitness for duty examinations. |

Robert P. Archer, Ph.D., ABPP (CL) , Eastern Virginia Medical School
Dr. Robert P. Archer is the Frank Harrell Redwood Distinguished Professor and Director of Psychology, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Archer is the author of numerous books, articles and book chapters related to psychological assessment. He is also author of the texts, Using the MMPI with Adolescents, and MMPI-A: Assessing Adolescent Psychopathology (3rd edition) (Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, 1987; 2005), and Forensic Uses of Clinical Assessment Instruments (2006), and co-author of the MMPI-A Casebook (PAR, 1994). Dr. Archer served on the advisory committee to the University of Minnesota Press for the development of the MMPI-A and is a co-author of the MMPI-A manual. He is currently working on a series of research projects related to the MMPI-2 and the MMPI-A. Dr. Archer served as the Founding Editor of Assessment, a quarterly journal that began publication in March 1994, and was an Associate Editor for the Journal of Personality Assessment. He is an Executive Board member and Diplomate of the American Board of Assessment Psychology.

Yossef S. Ben-Porath, Ph.D., Kent State University
Dr. Ben-Porath is a Professor of Psychology at Kent State University. He received his doctoral training at the University of Minnesota and has been involved extensively in MMPI-2 research for the past 22 years. He is a coauthor of test manuals and numerous books, book chapters, and articles on the MMPI-2 test. Dr. Ben-Porath is a co-developer of several MMPI-2 scales including VRIN, TRIN, and FP , the Content Scales, the PSY-5 Scales, and the RC Scales. He is editor of the journal Assessment, and a member of the editorial board of the other major assessment journals. His clinical practice involves consultation to agencies regarding use of the MMPI-2 in personnel screening, and conducting criminal court-ordered forensic psychological evaluations. Dr. Ben-Porath is a co-author of the MMPI-2-RF (Restructured Form). |

Stephen Finn , Ph.D., Center for Therapeutic Assessment, Austin, TX
Dr. Stephen E. Finn, founder of the Center for Therapeutic Assessment in Austin, TX, is a psychologist in private practice who specializes in the integration of psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Dr. Finn received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1984 from the University of Minnesota. He currently is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, and is a fellow of the Society for Personality Assessment and of the American Psychological Association (Division 12). Dr. Finn is the author of A Manual for Using the MMPI-2 as a Therapeutic Intervention, published in 1996 by the University of Minnesota Press, and of many articles and chapters on psychological assessment and psychodiagnosis. In 2007, Erlbaum and Associates will publish his new book, In Our Clients' Shoes: Theory and Techniques of Therapeutic Assessment. Dr. Finn frequently lectures around the world on topics related to assessment.

John R. Graham, Ph.D., Kent State University
Dr. John R. Graham is Professor of Psychology at Kent State University. He is one of the authors of the MMPI-2 and the MMPI-A. He has been a substantial contributor to the MMPI research literature and is author of a widely used text, MMPI-2: Assessing Personality and Psychopathology, published by Oxford University Press. In addition to his University responsibilities, he consults with attorneys concerning the use of the MMPI-2 in forensic settings. He has offered MMPI workshops nationally and internationally. |

Allan R. Harkness, Ph.D., University of Tulsa
Dr. Allan R. Harkness is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK. He served as Director of Clinical Training at Tulsa from 1996 to 2001, and chair of the department from 2001 to 2004. He received his Ph.D. after completing the clinical psychology program at the University of Minnesota in 1989. Dr. Harkness specializes in the application of personality individual differences science in clinical psychology. He has published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Assessment, the Journal of Abnormal Psychology, and the Journal of Personality Assessment, among others. He has authored numerous book chapters on personality assessment. With Drs. John L. McNulty and Yossef S. Ben-Porath, he developed the PSY-5 Scales for the MMPI-2.

John L. McNulty, Ph.D., University of Tulsa
Dr. John L. McNulty is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Tulsa, where he's been since 1999. Dr. McNulty's primary research interests are in the areas of personality and personality assessment. Specific topics include psychometric analysis and interpretation of personality measures, particularly the MMPI-2. He has published in Psychological Assessment, Assessment, and the Journal of Personality Assessment, among other journals. He contributed to the development of the MMPI-2-based PSY-5 scales and the Restructured Clinical (RC) scales. In 2003, Dr. McNulty received the Society for Personality Assessment's Beck Award for excellence in early career achievement.

Martin Sellbom, Ph.D., Kent State University
Dr. Sellbom is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Psychology, Kent State University and part-time Psychology Resident at the Court Psycho-Diagnostic Clinic in Akron, Ohio. He completed his APA-accredited internship at the Centre for Addition and Mental Health in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Sellbom’s research focuses on the integration of personality and psychopathology, personality assessment with the MMPI-2 and MMPI-2-RF, and response bias on assessment instruments. His work has been featured in over 30 scholarly publications and he has won several awards, including APA Division 12’s Distinguished Student Research Award. Dr. Sellbom serves on the editorial boards of Assessment and Journal of Personality Assessment as well as a regular ad hoc reviewer for numerous other journals, including Psychological Assessment and Journal of Abnormal Psychology. For his post-doctoral residency, Dr. Sellbom specializes in court-ordered forensic psychological evaluations. |

Kathleen P. Stafford, Ph.D., ABPP (FP), Psycho-Diagnostic Clinic, Akron, OH
Dr. Kathleen P. Stafford is a clinical psychologist with the Diplomate in Forensic Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. She directs Psycho-Diagnostic Clinic, a five-county court clinic in Northeastern Ohio, and maintains a private practice in clinical and forensic psychology. She has faculty appointments in the Department of Psychology at Kent State University and the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Dr. Stafford is past President of the American Board of Forensic Psychology and past Chair of the American Psychological Association Ethics Committee. Her teaching and publications focus on psychological assessment, forensic psychology, treatment of high-risk clients, and professional standards and ethical issues in the practice of clinical and forensic psychology.

Auke Tellegen, Ph.D., University of Minnesota
Dr. Auke Tellegen received a Ph.D. in personality psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1962 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology at the University of Minnesota
Medical School in 1963. He was a professor in the Department of Psychology from 1968 to 1999, when he became Professor Emeritus. He has published on the assessment of mood, personality, hypnotic responsiveness, and psychopathology. He is author of the Multidimensional Personality Questionnaire (MPQ), a broadband personality inventory; co-author of the MMPI-2, MMPI-A, and
MMPI-2-RF (Restructured Form); and author of the MMPI-2
Restructured Clinical (RC) Scales. |

Nathan C. Weed, Ph.D., Central Michigan University
Dr. Nathan Weed is Professor of Psychology at Central Michigan University, where he teaches assessment of cognitive abilities and assessment of personality for its APA-accredited Ph.D. program in clinical psychology and directs a specialty training clinic devoted to psychological assessment. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1992, where he studied with Jim Butcher and Auke Tellegen during the restandardization of the MMPI. Dr. Weed is co-author of articles describing the development of substance abuse scales for the MMPI-A and the MMPI-2, and has been involved in a variety of lines of MMPI-2 validation research. A current line of research (with John Eustis Williams of the University of Northern Iowa) investigates the utility of MMPI-2 computer-based test interpretation programs.

John Williams, Ph.D., University of Northern Iowa
Dr. John Williams is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Northern Iowa. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi and completed a clinical internship at the Durham VA Medical Center. Dr. Williams specializes in reliability and validity of assessment instruments and computer-based test interpretations for personality assessment. He is a chief collaborator on PsychExperiments, an on-line cognitive and social psychology laboratory site.
