TRACK A: Basic MMPI-2 Introduction, Part 1:
This intermediate-level workshop is designed to introduce the MMPI-2 to individuals with limited or no experience with the test. It is assumed that individuals have some graduate level training in psychological testing and assessment.
Learning Objectives • Participants will be able to:
• Describe the empirical and conceptual foundations of the MMPI-2
• Use the documentation available for the MMPI-2
• Evaluate the validity of a test protocol
• Interpret findings on the clinical scales and code types

TRACK B: Introduction to the MMPI–2–RF (Restructured Form):
This intermediate-level workshop is designed to introduce the MMPI-2-RF to individuals with limited or no experience with the test. It is assumed that individuals have some graduate level training in psychological testing and assessments. Dr. Auke Tellegen and Dr.Yossef Ben-Porath are instructors for all sessions.
Learning Objectives • Participants will be able to:
• Assess rationale & methods used to develop the MMPI-2-RF scales
• Describe the 51 scales of the MMPI-2-RF
• Utilize the MMPI-2-RF materials and documentation

This workshop is a continuation of "Basic MMPI-2, Part 1" and is designed to introduce the MMPI-2 to individuals with limited or no experience with the test. It is assumed that individuals have some graduate level training in psychological testing and assessment.

• Interpret scores on the MMPI-2 content scales
• Interpret scores on the MMPI-2 supplementary scales
• Interpret scores on the MMPI-2 PSY-5 scales

TRACK B: MMPI-2-RF: Setting-Specific Applications:
This workshop is designed for individuals with some familiarity with the MMPI-2-RF, for example, those who have completed the “Introduction to the MMPI-2-RF” workshop. Attendees will further develop their MMPI-2-RF interpretation knowledge and skills in various settings where the test is used.
Learning Objectives • Participants will be able to:
• Utilize special features of the MMPI-2-RF including the comparison group data
• Conduct evidence-based assessments with the MMPI-2-RF
• Interpret scores on the MMPI-2-RF for assessments conducted in forensic settings
• Interpret scores on the MMPI-2-RF in assessments conducted in mental health treatment settings

This workshop is designed to introduce the adolescent version of the MMPI to individuals with little or no experience with the test. Graduate level education in psychological testing and assessments is assumed. Robert Archer is instructor for all sessions.

• Assess the rationale for and the methods used to develop the MMPI-A
• Optimally use MMPI-A validity, clinical, content & supplementary scales
• Determine when to administer the MMPI-A

This intermediate-level workshop is designed for individuals familiar with the MMPI-2-RF / MMPI-2. Graduate level education in psychological testing and assessments is assumed. Attendees will develop their MMPI test instrument interpretation knowledge and applications in various treatment settings in order to maximize therapy and treatment outcome.
Learning Objectives • Participants will be able to:
• Understand how and why assessment using the MMPI test instruments can be therapeutic for clients
• Use "softer" tests to explore MMPI test instrument findings
• Utilize a helpful format for giving oral and written feedback about findings to clients
• Use MMPI test instrument findings to maximize treatment outcome

This advanced-level workshop is designed for individuals familiar with the MMPI-2-RF and MMPI-2. Attendees will further develop their interpretation knowledge and skills in use of the MMPI instruments in various settings and applications.

• Interpret scores on the MMPI instruments related to substance abuse
• Interpret scores on the MMPI instruments related to personality disorders
• Identify over-reporting protocols using the MMPI instruments
