About the Authors

CHRISTOPHER MELE is an assistant professor
in the Department of Sociology at the University
at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. Receiving his PhD
at the New School for Social Research in New York
City, he found research interests in urban sociology,
community studies, and the sociology of culture.

Kurt Reymers is a PhD candidate in the Department of
Sociology at the University at Buffalo.

Dan Webb is a Master's student in the Department of
Sociology at the University at Buffalo.
