A Psychiatric Primer is the collaboration of Alexander G. Dumas, M.D., and Grace Keen. Dumas, a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, was a veteran of World War I and had served as consultant in neuropsychiatry for a Veterans Administration Facility for more than twenty years. Grace Keen was a writer experienced in presenting scientific material in a readable and understandable form for the layman. Together the authors have produced a book that cannot fail to be helpful in trying situations it is designed to meet.
